Beginners and Level 1 classes

Beginner – Water confidence and Water safety

30 minutes      Class size 4

In this beginner level the student will be introduced to water.  They will  learn correct body position, propulsion (kick), mobility (paddle). Students will be taught how to backfloat and backscull.  Safety skills are introduced at this stage.

Level 1  – Introducing Freestyle Arm stroke

30 minutes   Class size 4

Once a student is confident in the water, and can do independent ‘doggy paddle’, the next step is to teach Freestyle arms.  They will continue their backfloat and back scull techniques and further water safely awareness.
